Simsbury Celebrates 2018 is scheduled for Saturday, November 24, 2018. The event necessitates the closing of Hopmeadow Street, Route 10, between Plank Hill Road and Drake Hill Road between the hours of 5:00 PM to 8:00PM and traffic will be detoured onto Iron Horse Boulevard. Only local traffic will be allowed to Plank Hill Road. All other traffic will be rerouted onto Iron Horse Boulevard.
The following streets and businesses are affected by the road closure:
Phelps Lane
Library Lane
Station Street
Mallway
Eaglewood Lane
Simsbury 1820 House
Access to the above streets and businesses must be made via Wilcox Street. Due to the closure of Route 10, Wilcox Street must be accessed from Iron Horse Boulevard.
Heavy traffic volume is anticipated so please plan your travel accordingly. Please visit the event website at www.simsburycelebrates.com for program information.
Please note that we are unable to close both Hopmeadow Street (Route 10) and Iron Horse Boulevard at the same time. Please remember to use caution when crossing streets and always use sidewalks and crosswalks for safety.

Fireworks
The fireworks will be launched at 8:15 PM on Saturday, 11/29, from the back lot at Simsbury Meadows. Due to the construction at Simsbury Meadows, the stage will be closed. There will be limited parking at Simsbury Meadows.
The fireworks will still be visible from the Simsbury Meadows fields, but the fields will be partially closed off. Tune into WSIM 103.5 to listen to the firework announcements and soundtrack at 8:10 PM.
Street Closures
Simsbury Celebrates 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025. The event necessitates the closing of Hopmeadow Street, Route 10, between Plank Hill Road and Drake Hill Road between the hours of 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM and traffic will be detoured onto Iron Horse Boulevard. Only south bound local traffic will be allowed to Plank Hill Road. All other traffic will be rerouted onto Iron Horse Boulevard.

Jim Gallagher Way
Eaglewood Lane
Simsbury 1820 House
