10/28/09 - The Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company will be sponsoring a food drive during Simsbury Celebrates.  Event goers can expect to see Fireman along Hopmeadow Street during the event and in the firetruck parade collecting non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Simsbury Food Closet.  The Simsbury Fire Company is celebrating 65 years of proud service to the community and hopes that everyone will give what they can to make the food drive a big success. 

10/27/09 - Ensign Bickford has joined Simsbury Celebrates 2009 as a Presenting Sponsor.  Fundraising for 2009 has now reached $22,000.

10/23/09  - Simsbury Celebrates Planning Committee announces that Flippenout Productions Extreme Trampoline Show will be appearing at Simsbury Celebrates 2009 along Hopmeadow Street across from the Simsbury Library. 
Directions to Eno Hall (Center of Simsbury Celebrates)

From I-84:
Take exit 39. Follow Route 4 to Farmington Center.  Turn right onto Rt. 10 North and proceed to Part B below.

From I-91: Take exit 40.  Follow Route 20 West 9 miles into Granby center.  Turn left onto route 10 South and follow for 5 miles into Simsbury center.  Follow Part A directions below. 

Eno Memorial Hall is located at 754 Hopmeadow Street (Hopmeadow Street is Route 10) at the Corner of Station Street in Simsbury. Parking is located in lots behind the building.

Part A:  If you are coming from the North (on Route 10 South) you will find that Route 10 will be partially closed starting at 4:30PM around Eno Hall because of the event.  Please turn left onto Iron Horse Blvd and follow until you can make a right onto Wilcox Street. At the first stop sign on Wilcox Street turn right and then a quick left onto Station Street, the parking lot is immediately on your left.

Part B:  If you are coming from the south you will need to turn right at the police barricade at teh intersection of Route 10 and Drake Hill Road.  Take your first left onto Iron Horse Blvd and follow for about 1/3 mile to intersection with Wilcox Street. Turn left onto Wilcox Street, then right at first stop sign.  You will then make a quick left onto Station Street.  The parking lot will be on your left hand side.
